You write about so many day-to-day things that I never stopped to think about as I was growing up in Albania. I may have even forgotten certain things as a result of living in North America for 18 years now. Please write more often...I don't know your name, but wish to have the opportunity to speak to you in person one day...your writing has made me curious about you. Do you have any other published/posted work I can read. I am of the school that doctors are to be the last resort; they are, after all, human and not infallible. Truly amazing how people who live with such medical care, or in spite of it, tend to live and seemingly thrive. I like your open-mindness. My doc abroad prescribed avalox. Well, this is obviously a very strong antibiotic. But I was able to just walk in and buy the generic brand moxifloxacin for a fraction of the price. I did get some powerful side effects though. I also had heart palpitations maybe due to the not so good quality? Who knows? On the plus side, after 6 hours of taking it, I could feel my sinuses start to improve.Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18208240838163954904noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5729806576983054551.post-13595767088360491772010-04-10T00:38:47.008+02:002010-04-10T00:38:47.008+02:00This is so very true and so funny! But health care...This is so very true and so funny! But health care is not cheap here, if you are an Albanian. Most Albanians can't afford it and have to deal with ignorant, corrupted doctors as well. And dentists? For many of them the best cure is: let's just take out that bad tooth that's hurting you. After you take them all out, we put some fake ones and no more pain or bad teeth smell. You're a good writer. I like President Obama. I wish him luck with the health care reform. I wish Albania the luck of good leaders like yours some day.Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11013850738202620342noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5729806576983054551.post-57315490592108889762010-04-09T15:54:50.819+02:002010-04-09T15:54:50.819+02:00As an Albanian American (born in the US), I can...As an Albanian American (born in the US), I can't help but chuckle while reading your insightful, yet comedic analysis. My family is from Malesia e Madhe (in Montenegro), lived in the US for over 40 years, and we still use Raki as a cure all.

You need to post such analysis more often!
